My Story

I'll be the first to admit that I am young in the world of bonsai experts, as I am only 25 years old.  My primary profession is Pediatric Intensive Care and Emergency nursing having worked at prestigious facilities such as Egleston Childrens Hospital, the Arthur M Blank Hospital, and Wellstar.  Throughout college and beyond I have honed my artistic skills in the disciplines of both Bonsai and Ceramics.  While I have no classical training  in ceramics, I have spent 5 years as an employee and artist at Plant City Bonsai in Clermont Georgia.  Despite being pulled away from the area by nursing career, I remain in partnership with PCB as an Artist-in-Residence.  This affords me the opportunity to continue to develop my expertise under the guidance of artists with nearly 40 years of experience.  I work on an extensive variety of trees and even still teach workshops for PCB occasionally.  While the majority of my expertise is in styling Juniper and Boxwood bonsai of various variety,  I have also had the pleasure of maintaining Japanese gardens. I feel very comfortable maintaining established landscapes including magnificent Niwaki.  I also have extensive experiencing caring for tropical bonsai trees and houseplants.
